Local 700 Members Agree to Contract Extension

"Local 700 members are standing together and staying strong as they bargain with Kroger for a fair contract.  Bargaining is slow but progress is being made, both on health and welfare issues and on wages. 

 

Members will continue to stand together to ensure that they receive a fair contract, no matter how long it may take. To that end, the union has agreed with Kroger to an open contract extension with a seven day cancellation notice.

 

Local 700 members are also demonstrating their solidarity in their stores by wearing Unity buttons.

 

The next round of bargaining talks will take place at the beginning of June."
